Welcome to our site!

We are the Pocono Decorative Artists a non profit group (d/b/a Friends of Pocono Painters). We offer our members the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of decorative painting through classes and seminars. Building new friendships through shared artistic experience and collaborate projects, becoming involved in community service projects. (Acrylics, colored pencil, watercolor, etc.).

As a member you will receive our newsletter which is published every other month. This newsletter, along with our Facebook page (Pocono Decorative Artists), and this website (Pocono Decorative Artists.org) will keep you up to date with information on our group's happenings.

A yearly membership of only $25.00 will allow you to attend our monthly meetings and most months includes a free painting class.

Also offered is an opportunity to paint in several seminars which are taught by national teachers.

Pocono Decorative Artists provides our members with involvement in community service projects. In the past, we have helped to support local women's shelters, American Cancer Society, 1000 Pink Light Walk, Meals on Wheels, Pregnancy Resource Center of Poconos, Camp Papillon, Monroe County Foster Care Program, as well as several animal rescue facilities. Each year we choose a local nonprofit to help with their individual initiatives. In recent years, we have made over 500 masks for the local veterans, hand painted onesies for The Pregnancy Resource Center of the Poconos (PRCP). Our annual luncheon fundraiser allows us to continue to help local charities.
